Fatehpur Sikri - Akbar's vision in stone (31minutes) Exquisite miniature paintings from the Akbar Nama (from the Victoria and Albert Museum), accompanied by Ustad Asad Ali Khan on the Rudra Veena and Dhrupad by Wasif-ud-din Dagar enliven the tale and analysis of this masterpiece of Mughal architecture, willed by Akbar the greatest of the Mughal Emperors, in 1571. Lutyen's Delhi (30minutes) Photographs from the British period and computer graphics, accompanied by tunes from Indian army bands, are used to tell the story and to analyse the layout of New Delhi and the architecture of the Viceregal palace (now called Rashtrapathi Bhavan) designed by Lutyens and commissioned by the British imperial government in 1911 Jantar Mantar - charting the heavens (28 minutes) Ancient astronomical and mathematical texts, diagrams in Arabic and Sanskrit along with interviews with an authority on ancient Indian astronomy are used to tell the story and functioning of the Jantar Mantar observatories, built in the early 18th century for Maharajah Sawai Jai Singh II of Jaipur
