Award winning writer/director, Manu Rewal looks at the famous contemporary Indian Architect, Raj Rewal's work through two films. Resonance which explores his philosophy of design and the parliament library which looks at the realisation of these ideas through an in-depth exploration of a recent masterpiece.

Resonance - Raj Rewal and Tradition (30 minutes)
An architectural " promenade" across six projects of Raj Rewal. The hall of nations, the Nehru Pavilion, the SCOPE building, the CIET building, the Asian games village and the NII research campus. Images of historic buildings and miniature paintings appear at strategic moments in order to show how modern rationalism, a rigorous sense of function, structure and fabrication, has been reconciled with typologies extracted from the past.

The Parliament Library (42 minutes)
Interviews of Raj Rewal and the most important members of his team, historic documents, computer graphics, images of historic and contemporary buildings, images of the construction as well as of the completed parliament library building appear when required, in order to convey the design concepts and the innovative construction processes and techniques, using cutting edge, hi-tech, building technology, fused with the traditional Indian building crafts tradition.
